It is full of activities, fantastic food, authentic Mexican cuisine, and a bustling craft beer scene. July and August are pristine times to visit due to the amazing weather. Chicago, Illinois
Chicago is a summer city. During the summer, there are baseball games, festivals every weekend, and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and activities. The temperature is excellent, and you will not get bored visiting the windy city. If you miss the beach, Chicago has plenty of beaches on Lake Michigan, but beware, the water can still be chilly.
